I'm back from my trip to jiangnan!
well we went to shanghai, suzhou, hangzhou,nanjing and wuxi in 8days!
i went with my cousins and their cousins!
total got 19 of them! big family...
DAY 1
reached shanghai at about 10...
when i stepped out of the airport.
the chill wind blew on my face... wahhh damn nice!
took the tour bus for about 45 minutes to di hai hotel.
by the time we settled down was already 12 plus.
and yes! we slept at about 1am.
shared the room with amanda.
OH when we first step in the room...
we got a shock!
the bathroom door is TRANSPARENT!
i will post the picture after :D
the toilet door is frosted! so dumb!
still got curtain from the bedroom to pull...
once you pull, you get to see the bathroom! omg =.=
the bed is also hard!

DAY 2
woke up at about 6?
had to pack our laggages fast and put it outside of our room...
we will be going to suzhou tonight!
ate breakfast at lvl 2.
we went to Cheng Huang Miao...
also! we saw alot like starbucks,mac,kfc,haagen daz and MORE.
look a bit like singapore ah...
after that we went to nanjing road..
wow! so many nice food :D
we ate this xian rou yue bing...
my cousin thought is yu yang rou.
AIYA cannot type in chinese...
anyway its damn nice can already...
had our lunch and went to an industrial park inbetween suzhou and shanghai...
singapore invested in it...
entered Suzhou already in 1 and 1/2 hour time.
went to Ou yuan > hanshan miao > qi li xiang tang (river) > Suzhou street > GreenTree Inn hotel.
FINALLY the day ended...
Suzhou hotel damn nice :D lalala~
nice bed, blanket, toilet and aircon...
the weather is getting colder already.
DAY 3
Woke up at about 630 :D
packed our laggage as usual... went to have breakfast.
first stop went to Suzhou No1 silk factory...
i wanted to buy the silk blanket... BUT its too ex~ no money~~~~
so i bought 2 pillows! 480 rmb fly~~~~
3rd day only leh~ 2/3 of my money fly already~
bought quite a few things...
went to Gu Pan Men...
amanda me justin and krystal climb up the bridge...
took some pictures.. then ran down..
WOW. we sweat!
went to Wu Zhen village next...
its a water village.
we took boat at there and saw how the villagers live their life...
went to eat lunch..
and after lunch OFF WE GO TO HANGZHOU!
the journey was about 2 hours plus?
so we had Deng Xiao Ping time! which means sleeping time :D
oh everything is in chinese too!
in hang zhou > wan song ling( the butterfly lovers studied there) > West of Xi Hu > Boating in Xi Hu > hua gang guan yu (sth see flowers see fish) > Xi Hu museum > Dong Po Da Ju Yuan (watch show) > HOTEL (:
DAY 4
South of Xi Hu > Mei Jia Wu(tea village) > OFF TO NANJING!
the tour guide say Nan jing is where alot people died during the japanese occupation...
it is quite eerie ah.. cos the place is the coldest and has the most mist...
like Ying Qi very high! cos people die~~
MoChou Hu garden > Qing Huai He(shopping) > HOTEL!
the hotels are NOT the SAME. all different huh!
DAY 5
still in Nan Jing
Chang Jiang Da Qiao > NanJing Da Du Sha memorial (massacre where the japs killed 300000 people in mass alive burial) > OFF TO WU XI
first place we went in Wuxi was the San Guo cheng at TaiHu.
thats where they film the san guo yan yi.
as the sun sets at 430!
it is rather late already when we finished the tour at TaiHu...
it is freaking big and cold!
its about 10 singapore~ LOL.
DAY 6
still in Wuxi...
Si Jia garden > Pearl shop > zisha clay teapots > LUNCH.
and i bought pearl powder,cream and my aunty gave me pearl earrings!
the clap teapots are damn nice la!
can float on water without flipping over and it has SUPER BRAKING SYSTEM!
after lunch we went back to shanghai~
we went to Madame Tussauds wax museum > xin tian di (sth like singapore's clarke quay) > Huang Pu Jiang (BOATING & its freaking cold) > Oriental pearl tower > back to the same hotel di hai hotel.
we are going to stay in shanghai for 3 nights...
the people in wax museum are freaking looking real!
there are many pubs and coffee cafe at xin tian di.
at Huang Pu jiang we saw the Pu Dong and Pu Xi (north and south)
i was outside at the boat la.
the wind blowing was freezing...
its about 0 degrees...
the oriental pearl tower known as dong fang ming zhu.
we went to the 294 story... its really high!
went back to the hotel after that...
and yes... it is the one with the transparent toilet. LOL
DAY 7
Song Qing Ling Yuan > Tao Bao Cheng > i cannot remember where already. LOL
BACK TO HOTEL :D
DAY 8
last day in shanghai...
it was supposed to be a free and easy day...
but we decided to follow the tour guide since we dun really know the place. ;D
we went to Qi Bao Gu Zhen > Long Hua Shi Chang > Raffles City
qi bao gu zhen was where we ate delicious Xiao Long Bao from Long Pao Xia Xie Tang Bao... freaking long name.
and they are opening one in SINGAPORE's Kopitiam!
we also ate bbq oyster and Hairy crab!
got ALOT food there la!
went to long hua shi chang for shopping purposes...
went to raffles city .. its like singapore's...
so boring la.
we walk so much until damn tired so we sat down against the railings..
guess what.
THE GUARD SCOLD US..
say cannot sit there =.=
but they have A LARGE HERSEY'S SHOP!
CHOCOLATE~~~~
went back to the hotel to pack up...
tomorrow had to wake up at 530... O.O
DAY 9
woke up at 530.
packed our bags and went for breakfast..
went to take the shanghai maglev train to airport.
ITS FAST... like 300km/h 7minutes reach airport.
say BYEBYE to shanghai~
left the airport at 1055 like that...
lunch was quite nice because they have salmon!
REACHED SINGAPORE at about 4!
ACTUALLY. i should just cut it SHORT and SWEET.
well i enjoyed it and blew my budget~
the trip was very pleasant and i wanna enjoy more cold air !
